.We include the A for Art in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Maths) rather than just STEM because creativity, imagination, and design are essential for solving real-world problems—especially in sustainability and climate action. Art helps learners think differently, communicate big ideas visually and emotionally, and design innovative solutions that are not only functional but meaningful and human-centred. By blending the arts with scientific thinking, STEAM encourages young people to explore connections between people, the planet, and technology, preparing them to be creative changemakers in a rapidly changing world.
