Community Engagement and Projects
Infinite Earth Agency Home of
The Sustainables

Our Regenerations community engagement projects bring sustainability to life through creativity, storytelling, and action. At the heart of these initiatives are our colourful characters from The Sustainables, each representing a key aspect of the circular, regenerative economy. These characters will soon star in our up-and-coming comic series — a playful, inspiring way to introduce young people and their families to sustainability themes. The comic will include hands-on activities, local challenges, and ideas to spark community-led change. We are proud to collaborate with the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, Queen’s Guides, and Queen’s Scouts programmes, offering opportunities for young people to embed sustainability and community regeneration into their volunteering, skills, and leadership sections. Our free website and YouTube channel help connect learners and leaders across the UK — especially in remote areas like the Highlands and Islands — creating a shared space for Earth Stewardship, storytelling, and real-world action rooted in place and purpose.

Why The Sustainables Support Regenerative and the Circular Economy in Communities

Project Purpose Summary
Earth Stewards: A Circular Regenerative Education for All Ages

This project empowers children and young people of all ages to take real climate action through creative, hands-on learning about sustainability, the circular economy, and caring for the planet. Using The Sustainables Academy characters, such as Aqua (water), Oggie (organic growing), and Plasto (plastic reuse), we work with schools, youth clubs, the Duke of Edinburgh Award, and community groups to deliver fun, meaningful, character-led experiences that build environmental awareness and inspire behaviour change.

Through storytelling, outdoor projects, and community collaboration, learners develop climate knowledge, leadership skills, and the confidence to shape a more regenerative future. This free, inclusive programme has been co-designed with educators, young people, and local groups to respond to growing demand for engaging, hopeful sustainability education. It strengthens community action, supports teacher delivery, and helps young people turn climate anxiety into empowerment.

By embedding sustainability across learning, leisure, and community life, we are helping to raise a generation of Earth Stewards—creative, confident, and ready to care for our planet.

Character-Driven Learning Inspires Action

Our diverse team of characters (like Oggie, Plasto, Turbie, and Shelly) embody different aspects of regeneration — from soil health to circular design. Their stories make complex sustainability ideas relatable and fun, encouraging people of all ages to take action in their own homes, schools, and neighbourhoods.

Cross-Generational Engagement

By working with schools, families, youth groups, and older mentors (like Duke of Edinburgh participants and Queen’s Scouts), The Sustainables create opportunities for all ages to collaborate, share skills, and build a community culture of Earth care, repair, and renewal.

Place-Based, Practical Activities

Through comics, games, challenges, and outdoor learning resources, The Sustainables offer accessible, hands-on ways for communities to regenerate local spaces — from planting pollinator patches to reusing waste or restoring habitats — all aligned with circular economy principles.

Accessible Digital Tools for Hard-to-Reach Areas

Our free website and YouTube channel ensure that even remote communities, such as those in the Highlands and Islands, can access resources, share stories, and feel part of a national network of regeneration. We bring visibility and voice to local action, empowering everyone to be an Earth Steward.

Eco-Missions with Purpose

Club Members take part in meaningful, hands-on projects that tackle real environmental challenges in their school or community — such as reducing waste, saving water, growing food, and protecting biodiversity. Every mission links to global goals and shows how small actions lead to big change.

Learning Through Adventure

Through outdoor exploration, storytelling, team challenges, and creative problem-solving, the club builds confidence, curiosity, and real-world understanding of sustainability and the circular economy.

Earth Steward Roles

Each member takes on a special role within the agency — such as Waste Warrior, Water Watcher, Green Inventor, or Nature Protector — giving children ownership, responsibility, and pride in leading positive change.

Voice and Leadership

The club gives children a platform to share ideas, lead campaigns, and inspire others. Whether it’s creating posters, running assemblies, or talking to their community, Infinite Earthlings become role models for a better, brighter future.
