What is the Function of a Wind Turbine?
A wind turbine captures the energy of the wind and turns it into electricity. When the wind blows, it spins the blades of the turbine, much like how a pinwheel spins in the breeze. The spinning blades turn a generator inside the turbine, which then produces electricity that can be used in homes, schools, and businesses.
How Does a Wind Turbine Help the Planet?
